BEHIND THE LENS

Welcome to my Modelsite! My name is Mya.

I've always had a passion for creatively expressing myself. Dancing, swimming, singing, and acting are just a few of the many ways that I do. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, being in nature, listening to music, traveling, exercising, and learning new things. My latest passion that I've excelled in is modeling.

I started modeling seriously in July 2023. Instead of having a model coach, I learned from watching ANTM (America's Next Top Model), social media, Google, and experience. My drive is unmatched. I've learned to style myself, handle creative direction, edit photos and videos, and do my own hair and makeup. I even taught myself to drive - all in pursuit of advancing my modeling career and to further my opportunities. So far I’ve modeled in St. Louis, Atlanta, and New York. My personality, creativity, passion, networking, posting on social media, and support from my mom and sister are the biggest reasons for my current and future success.

I am a freelance model who specializes in fashion, editorial, beauty, and commercial photoshoots. With experience in various areas, I bring versatility, professionalism, and fresh amusing energy. I connect effortlessly with people as well as the camera, I take direction well, and I have the ability to be chameleon like. What makes me unique is I know who I am.
